In this module, participants will learn the essential techniques for safely and efficiently drawing a concealed firearm from an Inside-the-Waistband (IWB) holster in a close-quarters grappling scenario. The focus is on the safe retention and deployment of the weapon during physical conflict, ensuring that you can access your firearm when needed without compromising control. Participants will practice transitioning from grappling to drawing and firing, and will learn how to manage their firearm during movement and while being in direct contact with a threat.
This module focuses on the art of deploying and using a concealed blade for self-defense during close-quarters grappling. Whether it’s a folding knife or a fixed blade, participants will learn how to draw and use a concealed blade effectively, both offensively and defensively, when traditional weapons or non-lethal options are unavailable. Through practical drills, students will become proficient in handling a blade for self-defense while maintaining control of the encounter.
In this section, we will explore a variety of non-lethal self-defense tools that are commonly carried as part of an Everyday Carry (EDC) setup, such as pepper spray, stun guns, and tactical impact weapons. Participants will gain the skills to effectively deploy these tools in a grappling or close-contact situation. The emphasis is on using non-lethal force to create space or gain control over a threat, without escalating to deadly force unless absolutely necessary.
Off-body carry refers to carrying weapons or defensive tools in bags, backpacks, or other non-body-worn methods. This module teaches the strategies and techniques necessary for securing and efficiently accessing your EDC gear from off-body carry positions. Participants will practice drawing weapons or non-lethal tools from concealed or off-body locations during grappling encounters, ensuring that their gear is always within reach when seconds matter.
This module is designed to prepare participants for self-defense encounters in low-light or no-light conditions. Using realistic scenarios, students will learn how to navigate, identify, and neutralize threats in low-visibility environments. The course covers the use of light sources, such as flashlights and weapon-mounted lights, and teaches techniques for deploying your EDC gear when visibility is limited. Emphasis is placed on situational awareness, effective target identification, and maintaining a tactical advantage while under low-light conditions.
